Love ya long time

I have not written in a long ass while. So I thought since I DO have one of these, I should make use of them. So, as you may or may not know, I attend college now, finishing up my sophomore year. My major is Journalism and a minor in Political Science.
My experience with college has been way better than high school was
Firstly, I could slack off and be fine when I was at OPRF. You had to do homework for points; however, chances were you could procrastinate, work really hard the night before something was due and still do relatively well.
College is an unofficial "no procrastination" zone. That is, you are not able to skim 250 pages of reading in one night and expect to earn an A+ on a quiz given the following day. It is [nearly] impossible. This goes for studying for midterm and final exams as well as writing essays.
Also, I did more in high school than I needed by way of my social life. I took time out to be with people, who, eventually, left me when it was convenient for them.
College is teaching me that the people I meet here are in my life because they choose to be. I could have saved myself a lot more trouble if I had stopped trying to please everyone. Better late than never, I suppose.
And i also learned how vital Facebook is to keep up with information regarding your friends. I kid you not. LOOK ME UP if we are not friends on there already and you will see why i am right.
