hard times..

Colleges are looking for me as an individual, right?Why am i competing then against all these other face? I'm not supposed to feel this defenseless because this process is only temporary, right?
How come my friends can't pick up the phone and call me to see what's up? Why am i looking for love in the wrong places? Is it this hard everyday? I don't think that's necessarily true :-O
