When i tell you what i just did, you're going to laugh at me.Then you're going to be happy you aren't me.
I broke two boards of the wood fence of a neighbor's. I reversed and didn't get any help from my mom or anyone to tell me if it was close to the car or not. Even looking back while reversing hadn't helped me, a new and sometimes subconscious driver.
Anyways, basically the neighbors will call the people to get an estimate on the boards. Until then, i'm not ever going to try parking in the gate. The Village of Oak Park can sue me, i don't care. I'm not taking the chance of coughing up money i don't have in spite of my mistakes. This is a really stupid/common thing to do when first learning to park in a small space. So children, do as i say, not as i do.
Go ahead and laugh at me now.
